Vision/Hearing Screening Volunteers for Adams 12 Five Star Schools:

The vision and hearing screeners help with State-mandated vision and hearing screenings across the district in the elementary and middle schools.

Each screening lasts about 5 hours, usually with a break for lunch.

Each screener either stands by a vision chart and screens students for vision, or works an audiometer to screen for hearing.

The screening procedure is very simple, and volunteers are trained at the beginning of each screening.

Volunteers can help with as many or as few screenings as they like ... this is very flexible.

Please contact Tom Rapp with Retired and Senior Volunteer Program at 303-955-6609 or trapp@seniorhub.org for further information and contacts for this volunteer opportunity.
