Every year A.I.R. Project which A.I.R. stands for Abuse Is Real, has its annual Soles for A.I.R. community event in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness and National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month in October. At this event we provide a new pair of shoes to abused youth and at risk youth ages 8-18 years old.

At this event we need volunteers to help with the following opportunities:

Art Station(s)-art stations are areas where kids can create pre-determined art projects to take home with them. Some of the projects include stones, canvasses, face masks, and picture frames. The volunteer for this will help facilitate the project and help participants as needed.

Registration Station(s)- registration stations have various components involved, such as greeting attendees, preparing shoe orders, giving directions, assisting with raffles and more. Volunteers for this will be like the right hand persons to help make sure the event runs smoothly.

Social Media Station- social media station is the place where attendees will have to engage in some social media for a treat.

Thank you Station- thank you station is where the attendees will have the chance to write thank you letters, take photos, and/or video to share and provide to their sponsor.

Training will be held on October 26th 4:30pm-7pm at Welch Middle School
11544 S Gessner Rd Houston TX 77071
(Please contact us if you will be running behind schedule, as we know people may not get off work until 4:30pm/5pm)
