Family Service's Linkages to Learning program at Gaithersburg Middle School is looking for an adult tutor to work with a small group of middle school students to strengthen their reading and writing skills.
Volunteer qualifications include:
- Enthusiasm for working with children
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Sensitive and adaptable to learners' needs.
- Accepting of and sensitive to cultural, economic and familial differences.
Tutoring is needed on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:15pm at the Linkages to Learning office at Gaithersburg Middle School, 2 Teachers Way, Gaithersburg.
