The significant contribution of time, energy, special skills and expertise are respectfully appreciated and your help allows the City to offer a higher level of service to the citizens of our community than we would otherwise be able to provide. Once an individual submits their application, there is a review process, assessment of best "fit" for volunteering and coordinating for an orientation, training and placement at a site. Background checks will be completed on individuals 18 an older.
Volunteers enhance and enrich the capabilities of City staff and provide valuable support and assistance to the City of Woodburn Community. Volunteer assignments within the City are varied. Volunteers are an extension of the total City program, not a substitute for staff responsibilities.
