Join California State Parks, the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council, and REI for non-native plant removal and split-rail repair along the Ridge Trail route through Benicia State Recreation Area! Help prepare the trail for winter and give back before the rainy season starts.

The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council's mission is to create a continuous 550+-mile trail for hikers, mountain bicyclists, and equestrians along the ridgelines overlooking San Francisco Bay.

The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council is the nonprofit that plans, builds, & promotes the Bay Area Ridge Trail, a planned 550+ mile trail on the ridgelines circling the San Francisco Bay for hikers, mountain bicyclists & equestrians. Over 375 miles are now open to enjoy.
