The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council's mission is to create a continuous 550+-mile trail for hikers, mountain bicyclists, and equestrians along the ridgelines overlooking San Francisco Bay.

The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council is the nonprofit that plans, builds, & promotes the Bay Area Ridge Trail, a planned 550+ mile trail on the ridgelines circling the San Francisco Bay for hikers, mountain bicyclists & equestrians. Over 375 miles are now open to enjoy.
