YWCA Asheville's Walk with Ease is a 6-week long program that meets 3x per week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) from 10am - 11am at the YWCA.
We are looking for volunteers to help us with support for the participants. We need someone to attend the groups with us and join us on our walks. Volunteers will need to be able to walk for at least 30 minutes without stopping. The goal of the volunteer would be someone who could walk either at the front or at the back of the group to ensure all participants are safe and feeling comfortable. Ideally we need 1 volunteer per day.
