WildLands fall volunteers

To Battle!! We’ll focus on removing invasive exotic honeysuckle and other invasive woody plants from the woodlands above the glades while enjoying the fall beauty of Kansas City’s remnant wild lands. Volunteers will cut and treat invasive woody plants from this beautiful woodland and glade habitat, helping native flowers and grasses flourish again in this stunning wild area.

Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.

BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
