Lynn Economic Opportunity (LEO), Inc. a community action agency, serves all communities with the idea to alleviate the impact of poverty while providing opportunities for financial stability for individuals, families, and the strength of the greater community of Lynn and its surrounding towns. LEO's services include Child Development Programs, Fuel/Weatherization, Community Services, and Emergency Support.

Role Purpose
The administrative role will consist of a range of administrative and office support functions primarily with LEO’s Head Start program. The focus of the position is to facilitate the efficient operation of the our organization. The position will extend resources in the department to better assist the needs of our clients and our community.

Role Responsibilities
Field incoming phone calls and written correspondence, provide prompt responses and forward client -inquiries to appropriate staff member where necessary
Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, fax, mailing and scanning
Handle requests for information and data as well as follow up with appropriate staff member
Assist the director in the management and administration of related project

Knowledge, skills and experience
Enthusiastic, highly motivated, self starter, easy to work with
Comfortable speaking with a broad range of culturally diverse clients
Ability to maintain clients’ confidentiality
Foreign-language skills are a plus
Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
