New Century Hospice is seeking compassionate, emotionally intelligent, responsible, and reliable people to join our agency's volunteer program to help us in our mission to serve and care for our patients and their families as they near the end of life. Although our Direct Patient Care Volunteers primarily provide companionship for our patients and respite for patient caregivers, lots of flexibility and opportunities exist in this program depending on your personal skills, gifts, and passions. If you're gifted in the realm of music or painting, for example, those gifts can be used to serve and love our patients and their families. The same is true for those who are "handy," those who have a knack for cleaning and organizing, or even those who enjoy reading or writing. The possibilities are nearly endless.
If you're interested in joining us in serving this oft-forgotten demographic in our society, please let us know via this website or by contacting Clinton Battles (our Volunteer Coordinator) directly at clinton.battles@newcenturyhospice.com or 719-330-6652.
