Hospice Volunteer Clip

Would you like an opportunity to help others and give back to your community? Have you ever thought about volunteering for Hospice? Did you know that Volunteers are the Heart and Soul of Hospice Care?

Volunteers visit patients and families, providing care and support through companionship and socialization, reading, writing letters, listening to music, watching movies & TV, playing games, painting/coloring, offering care to the pets of the patients and families, helping with light household tasks or yard work, and even sharing hobbies!

We provide a comprehensive orientation and training, so if you don't have any experience with Hospice, don't worry - we'll give you everything you'll need to be the best Volunteer you can be! Any time commitment big or small is appreciated!

Please contact Kayla Dizney, Manager of Volunteer Service at 248-356-5070 or by email at Kayla.dizney@gentiva.com. Looking forward to hearing from you!!
