Music therapy is an important part of our program. Research has shown that music helps the person suffering from Alzheimer’s/Dementia come alive inside. Because it so enriching, we have live musical entertainment daily and a music program through Vibrant Minds. Continuing with our social model, we stimulate the clients through board and word games, the Memories in the Making Art Program through the Alzheimer’s Association, dance classes, Yoga and Zumba.

JADP is "Celebration Central" and we celebrate the birthdays of every participant and staff member along with the celebration of every holiday we can think of! There are many fun and exciting events in the facility for the participants, families, and caregivers such as the annual Senior Prom, Mother’s Day Brunch, Father’s Day and Summer Luau, just to name a few. We have a theme every month to focus interest to help engage their participants. All of the activities throughout the day are geared toward physical, cognitive, and social stimulation for their participants.

Volunteers are viewed as one of the most valuable resource of this agency, along with participants and staff!
