10-month teaching positions are available in Haiti at Louverture Cleary School, a tuition-free, Catholic secondary boarding school (grades 7-13) supported and overseen by The Haitian Project. Volunteers live in constant witness to the Project's charism of Matthew 10:8, "What you receive for free, you must give for free," through sharing of their gifts, labor and zeal for service. Duties include: classroom teaching, leading physically-intensive work projects, leading extracurricular activities, living in community with Haitian staff and other Volunteers.

Description
The Haitian Project, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is a Catholic Mission which supports and operates Louverture Cleary School (LCS), a tuition-free, Catholic, co-educational secondary boarding school for academically-talented and motivated students from Haitian families who cannot afford the cost of their children’s education.
