ORGANIZATION: ECHO of Brandon

Purpose:
Assist clients with their shopping experience.

Reports to:
Pantry Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:
- Check expiration dates, restock shelves when needed, answer client questions
- Assist in keeping pantry area clean (floors, shelves, refrigerator's and incoming desk)
- Weigh and record incoming food donations, write up donor receipts
- Use proper color labels and proper name of food when boxing excess inventory, weigh and mark box
- Bag outdated food
- Record temperatures
- Sort incoming food donations

Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Basic inventory control knowledge
- Must be able to life up to 45lbs.

Description

Established in 1987, the Emergency Care Help Organization (E.C.H.O.) of Brandon is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community emergency food and disaster relief organization. Families who are having trouble making ends meet are given food, clothing, and household items assistance. E.C.H.O. provides help to Greater Brandon area single parents, homeless persons, retirees, families in transition, under-employed and unemployed households, grandparents raising grandchildren and others in need.
