ORGANIZATION: Habitat for Humanity Fresno County

Interested in spreading joy and bringing smiles to the face of children this holiday season? Are you comfortable dressing in a red suit and white beard (provided if needed)?

Join us at Habitat Greater Fresno's Annual Toy Drive! Santa's role will be helping hand out gifts to children in a targeted, low-income neighborhood and posing for photos. Santa will have several helpers that will be handing out gifts, candy canes, cookies, hot chocolate, raffle prizes and more! The ideal volunteer will have a "jolly" disposition, comfortable with children of all ages and able to interact with families. The volunteer will be seated for the majority of the event.

Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity Fresno County seeks to end poverty housing in the county of Fresno by uniting individuals, families and communities to build decent, affordable housing. We work in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with Godys people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which people can live and grow into all that God intended. Habitat is based on the conviction that Christian discipleship must be lived out in practical ways which help to lift burdens from the shoulders of others.

Description

Volunteers support the work and mission of Habitat For Humanity by helping with fundraising, building homes, home repairs, and supporting our Restore locaitons.
