Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center provides free counseling service to the most under-served communities in Chicago. Our clientele with substance abuse issues encompass intractable problems like homelessness, unemployment and previous criminal convictions. Our mentor program wanted to give back to their peers in recovery and create a public service announcement about the consequences of Opioid. They need assistance in creating a video to show to their peers during our graduation ceremonies that takes place the first Wednesday of every month.

The Mission of Above and Beyond is to build an individualized treatment experience that is available to anyone in need regardless of their economic status. Our clients and clinicians create therapeutic alliances that design and execute personalized programs of recovery that co-exist side-by-side personal development and growth goals. We believe that recovery is a process that requires meeting individuals where they are at as well as addressing their environmental life circumstances such as: education, employment readiness, interpersonal relationships, and social reintegrative abilities and activities.
