You'll love Friday game nights if you love board games! While TRUST programs focus on long-term 1:1 mentor mentee activities from grade school to college, we need volunteers to assist with game nights. Don't be surprised if you start looking forward to game nights even more than the youth do!

All TRUST activities are...

  • Safe - they're group-based and local, all volunteers are background checked and attend orientations.
  • Planned - lead volunteers help supervise and plan our activities, all you need to do is arrive on time.
  • For the kids - while most youth are 11 years of age, youth at game nights are 8 to 12.
FRIDAY GAME NIGHTS...
  • This opportunity is located in Clark County near Mill Plain and Andresen.
  • Select from the Fridays you wish to attend; hours are from 6PM to 8PM.
  • Our lead volunteer hosts will have plenty of board games and healthy snacks, but everyone is welcome to bring age appropriate games and goodies.
Please contact us with a couple days and times that you can meet a TRUST volunteer to discuss this opportunity. We'll reply with a meeting invite including our location and time that will work.

Thank you!

Mission Statement

Providing long-term, caring, passionate adult role models for youth needing and wanting a mentor.

Description

Trust Mentoring (founded by a mentor/mentee pair with over 20 years combined success and experience) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that provides long-term youth mentoring services from grade school through college. We serve at-risk youth in low-income households and children in foster care. Youth in our program, with the help of dedicated volunteers, will experience personal growth, social enhancement, academic success and economic opportunity. Our activities are group based within the community and have a 1:1 mentor to mentee ratio. Our program is sensitive to our volunteer's personal schedules and support is critical to mentor/mentee retention. Activities are planned and structured. One of our areas of focus is partnering with other agencies to strengthen mentoring and youth resources in Clark County. Whether you are a volunteer or representing an agency, please think of how our partnership could benefit youth and our community.
