Caregiver Support Group Leaders (volunteers and professionals)

This support group meets ONLINE the second Friday and fourth Monday of the month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Support group leaders have a heart to serve. They may be a current or retired professional health care worker, former caregiver, or anyone else who wants to help those who are on the front line serving others as a caregiver.

Groups will consist of six to twelve people and be quite manageable. Groups serve as a place for people to share ideas, frustrations, and dreams. You will be trained for your role and you will be hard pressed to find a more rewarding role.

Anyone interested in facilitating an Alzheimer's Association support group will

1. Be interviewed for the position,

2. Take part in online training, at your convenience,

3. Go through a background check.

Once these steps are complete you will be prepared and confident for your new role.
