Caregiver Support Group Leaders (volunteers and professionals),

This support group meets ONLINE the second and fourth Monday of the month, from 2 to 3 p.m. and has a Hurricane, Utah, based leader.

Volunteers have a heart to serve. They may be a current or retired professional health care worker, former caregiver, or anyone else who wants to help those who are on the front line serving others as a caregiver.

Groups will consist of four to six people and be quite manageable. Groups serve as a place for people to share ideas, frustrations, and dreams. You will be trained for your role and you will be hard pressed to find a more rewarding role.

To become a support group facilitator you will

1. Be interviewed for the position,

2. Take part in special Alzheimer's online training, at your convenience,

3. Go through a background check.

Once these steps are complete you will be prepared and confident for your new role.
