Many of our hospice patients reside in facilities which consist of bare walls. WE NEED YOU to demonstrate your talent by making cards and or crafts for our patients. The cards can be decorated for the upcoming holidays, birthdays or just because...etc. Stickers, crayons, pens, pencils, etc. can be used. Please leave the middle of the card blank so our staff may sign. If you would like to sign the cards, please feel free to do so.
The cards can be delivered to one of our offices located in
Houston at 8876 Gulf Freeway, Suite 410, Houston, TX 77017, M-F, 9-4.
Or in Sugar Land at 12808 W. Airport Blvd, Suite 330, Sugar Land, TX 77478, M-F 9-4.
If you are needing volunteer hours, please keep track of the time it takes to gather supplies, make the cards and delivery time and I will be happy to create a Certificate of Appreciation for you. If you are wanting to make crafts, please let me know and I will supply you with simple crafts from Hobby Lobby which just need assembling.

Volunteers are an integral part of the AccentCare (formerly Texas Home Health Hospice) team, providing compassion and care when it is needed most. As the heart and hands of the hospice team, they provide a special kind of caring to patients, families, and staff through helping to make the hospice experience manageable and rewarding.
Men, women, and young people of all ages and backgrounds can volunteer in a variety of roles.
Volunteer as:
- Patient/Family Care Volunteer
- Office/Administrative Volunteer
- Pet Therapy Volunteer
- Bereavement Volunteer
- Veteran Volunteer
- Reiki Volunteer
- Music Therapy Volunteer
ALL POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION. *** ALL POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS MUST UNDERGO A BACKGROUND CHECK, TAKE A TB TEST, DRUG TESTING AND ORIENTATION/TRAINING PRIOR TO START***
