The Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum is a great place for families to play...and shop! This holiday season we are hoping to find volunteers to help wrap gifts purchased in the PlayHouse Children's Museum shop. We are offering gift wrapping on Saturdays and Sundays in December. On Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30am and 2 to 4pm. On Sundays from 2 to 4pm.

The fundamental responsibilities of the Park District are:
*to provide Peoria area residents with opportunities for wholesome recreational activities, high quality facilities and a wide variety of programs to aid in satisfying diverse interests.
*conserve the natural resoursces of Peoria for the enjoyment of today's residents, as well as future generations. This includes restoration of natural and open spaces in older sections of the city.
*to be the guardian of a quality environment for Peoria area residents while encouraging the restoration, conservation, and preservation of aesthetic values in the community.
