Way Back Inn's mission is to provide transitional housing to homeless families with children while helping them rebuild their lives, dignity, and self-confidence.
Since 1991, Way Back Inn has provided homes to homeless families with young children in South King County. Our units provide the families with a warm and comfortable home so that the children may have a regular place to sleep at night, a yard in which to play and a nearby school to attend.
The families must have clearly defined goals and be willing to work towards achieving them. Parents must have a plan to regain self-sufficiency and be actively working with a case manager to accomplish that plan.
In our emergency 90-day program, Way Back Inn pays the utility bills, we do not charge rent and we cover general maintenance costs needed to operate the homes. This gives the parents time to find work, if they aren't already working, save first and last months' rent and apply for permanent housing
WBI operates 10 units located in South King County (Renton(5), Tukwila(4), and Kent(1).Way Back Inn is a volunteer run agency, with 1 employee.
We'll work with your schedule.
