CSFI - Cudahy/St Francis Interfaith Program For The Elderly is looking for a volunteer to help coordinate some of the services we provide to our senior neighbors. We are seeking 1-2 persons to help with the following:
- update spreadsheets that keep track of our senior neighbors and their needs
- connect volunteers with seniors in need
- light office work
There is no specific time commitment required. The ideal person would be available from 2-5 hours a week, although there is no scheduled time, it's whenever you would be free to help. This is a rewarding role in a friendly environment, and makes a lasting impact on the lives of senior residents in Cudahy & St Francis.
Please reply to this post or contact Patrick at 414-744-0645.
Thank you!

Mission Statement
Serve low-income individuals and families by feeding the needy, meeting emergency basic needs and providing a bridge/safety net to help them become self-sufficient.
Description
Project Concern of Cudahy - St. Francis is a food pantry that provides emergency food and personal care items for households whose income is 185% of the poverty line, this is a guideline set down by the federal government. The goal of the pantry is to help alleviate hunger, demonstrate community compassion and provide patrons with referrals to other community resources and to address the underlying causes of poverty through advocacy and empowerment.
The pantry has 2 part-time employees. Additionally over 70 regular volunteers do a variety of invaluable tasks that keep the pantry humming.
Hunger Task Force provides much of the food that the pantry distributes. However, the pantry still needs additional help to respond to the immediate nutritional needs of low-income people living in the cities of Cudahy and St. Francis. Project Concern works with local congregations, businesses and the community at large to meet those needs.
