The Kindred Centralized Bereavement office provides grief support to families in the Great Plains, Midwest and Eastern regions of the United States who have lost a loved one on our hospice service in the past year. Volunteers make it possible for mailings with support information to be sent regularly and in a timely manner.
Bereavement Center volunteers make copies of bereavement/grief inserts to be included with monthly letters of support that are sent to bereaved families. (Volunteers will use a standard office copy machine and copy paper provided to complete this task.)
Assisting with copying, collating and assembling regular mailings to bereaved families, volunteers enable bereavement coordinators to make support contact calls to the bereaved.
Copying can be done in our office (M-F, anytime 8-5) on your schedule.

As key members of the care team, volunteers expand and enhance hospice services for our patients. Volunteers bring special skills and talents to share with patients, and offer comfort through companionship visits, administrative assistance and special projects for patients and their families.
