Grace Hospice Cincinnati serves patients in nursing homes and in their own homes. We are currently in need of a Volunteer to spend time once a week with several Seniors in the Mason & West Chester areas. If you enjoy spending time with the elderly and being a friend to someone who is in need of a friend, please consider this volunteer opportunity.

Description
Hospice is the only health care system that mandates the involvement of volunteers. This reflects the history of the hospice movement in the United States, which started as an all-volunteer system.
Hospice is designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of a terminal illness. At HarmonyCares, we focus on enhancing the quality of life and our volunteers play a key role in our mission. The hospice philosophy reaches beyond the physical needs of a patient and ensures that a patient spend their final days in comfort and with dignity.
HarmonyCares Hospice volunteers are as diverse as our professional staff. Compassion and caring are the hallmarks of any great hospice volunteer, and their involvement are a vital part of our team.
