SUPPORT YOUR IMMIGRANT COMMUNITY AT THE BINATIONAL HEALTH FAIR
Workers Defense Project has a mission to empower low-wage workers so that they can become leaders in their communities. We are an organization that is dedicated to providing the resources needed to uplift low-wage workers and their voices. Workers Defense Project gives free legal support to workers who have faced wage theft, discrimination, injuries, etc on their work place. We also provide free adult education and training so that the low-wage immigrant community can be equipped with the resources they need to advocate for themselves.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Support your immigrant community by informing fair goers about the work of our organization!
- Give a short overview of our organization
- Reaffirm to fairgoers that they have rights and they should not be afraid to exercise them
- Invite people to our meetings so that they can know their rights and fight for a just world!

Mission Statement
Workers Defense Project (WDP) is a membership-based organization that empowers low-income workers to achieve fair employment through education, direct services, organizing and strategic partnerships.
Description
WDP is a worker center and part of a national movement of organizations that seek to provide low-wage workers with the resources they need to improve their working and living conditions. The project provides a source of power and hope for low-wage workers who have little access to these important resources. WDP is one of the few organizations in Texas working to address workplace abuse faced by low-wage workers. The organization is one of the most established worker centers in the South and a leader in fighting for fair conditions for working people.
