We are a small independent thrift store that has been a Los Gatos institution for 60 years. Our fun and funky store supports Uplift Family Services, benefitting families and children. Come make a difference with us! Join the team today.
- Retail volunteers will run the register (we'll teach you!),
- Interact with the public,
- Help customers view items in locked cabinets
- clean and organize the shop,
- restock shelves,
- and assist back room volunteers as necessary.
The minimum hour commitment per month is 3 shifts of ~3.5 hours each.
Completing more than three shift a month is a bonus - we would love to have you as often as you would like to come over. We are closed for major holidays and between Christmas and New Years.
Shifts are:
Mon. Fri. - 9:45am - 1:15pm or 1:00 - 4:00
Saturday - 9:45 - 1:30
Sunday - closed
- Spanish language skills are a definite plus.
- Requires the ability to stand for several hours.

Happy Dragon is an all-volunteer charitable thrift shop in Los Gatos, CA that benefits Uplift Family Services which has a comprehensive network of coordinated services designed to aid children, adolescents, and families at all levels of need. Description
Our small but mighty thrift shop is staffed entirely by volunteers. We are a 60+ year old organization dedicated to funding important services to youth who might otherwise be underserved or fall between the cracks entirely. Our thrift store has grown a steady following and is always busy with both donation intake and sales to customers. We consistently give over $500,000.00 each year to Uplift Family Services.
