Individuals willing to share a talent or skill with older adults (singing, crafts, scrap booking, reading, playing cards, etc.). This positions is ideal for a person who has a lot of patience, kind and flexible. A person who is a good listener and appreciates the stores that older adults like to share would be a a great fit. Consistency is critical because the older adults will start looking forward to you visit. The time commitment for this opportunity is anywhere from a few hours a day to a few hours a month. At least one between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm Monday through Friday. We currently have two locations, one located in Albany and the other located in Cohoes.

LifePath, formerly Senior Services of Albany provides programs and services to older adults and their caregivers in the Albany NY area including: Caregiver Education, Counseling and Support, HIICAP Health Insurance Counseling, Enrichment Programs, Health and Fitness Programs, Meals on Wheels, Social Adult Day Programs, Transportation and Transitional Case Management.
