ORGANIZATION: CAT CONNECTION

We're a nonprofit all-volunteer cat rescue based in Waltham, MA. If you like working with people and love cats, please help us save cats' lives as a Volunteer Liaison! Our volunteers are the heart of our organization, so you will be helping in a major way!

Duties include:

Act as liaison between The Cat Connection Board and the volunteer community

Provide ongoing support and guidance for volunteers

Welcome new volunteers into The Cat Connection and establish connection.

Orient volunteers to increase their understanding of the organization, mission & services

Check in with new volunteers periodically to see how their volunteer experience is going

Ensure volunteers are up to date in policies and procedures

Monitor Facebook Volunteer Group, including posting a few times a week in order to engage volunteers


Flexible; about 3-5 hours a week

Mission Statement

To control the local feral (undomesticated) cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return-Maintain (TNRM) programs and to facilitate the adoption of stray and abandoned cats and kittens into responsible permanent homes through our foster care and adoption programs.

Description

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit and we rescue stray and abandoned cats in the greater Waltham, MA area and try to find them loving homes.
