More than just another extracurricular, Youth CR3W is a program that prepares Nashville teens for college and the working world. Students are encouraged to apply as high school freshmen, committing to the program for four years. However, any high school student is welcome to apply for this exciting program! Pronounced "crew," the "3" in CR3W represents three E’s: engage, explore, and explain.
Program Expectations:
- Volunteer at science center public events at least one Saturday per month
- Volunteer with at least one ScienceQuest Camp during the year
- Interact with the general public as an exhibit explainer and through hands-on activities
- Maintain good academic standing at school ("B" average in standard academic courses)
- Attend Youth CR3W field trips, which may include visiting colleges, labs, & makerspaces
- Represent the science center within the building and community
- CR3W in years 2, 3, and 4 are presented the opportunity to participate in a mentorship alongside our Scientists on Site Program
- Apply to three Colleges/Universities for admission during Senior year.

Description
Adventure Science Center is an independent, not-for-profit educational institution dedicated to igniting curiosity and inspiring the lifelong discovery of science since 1945. With 44,000 square feet of exhibit space, the Center features nearly 175 hands-on exhibits focused on biology, physics, visual perception, listening, mind, air and space, energy and earth science.
Our award-winning programs include daily science demonstrations, Discovery Cart activities, workshops, lectures, camps, Science Cafes and other special events. The Sudekum Planetarium features state-of-the-art digital projection and surround sound to present programs on a wide range of sciences, history, culture and laser shows.
Serving more than 300,000 people annually, Adventure Science Center continues to be a premier attraction and learning center for visitors throughout Middle Tennessee and far beyond.
