Love Mutts Rescue is super excited to be hosting their 1st Annual Howl-O-Ween event and Fundraiser at Big Boss Brewery on Saturday, October 27, 2018! This is a Family and Dog Friendly event that is sure to be LOTS of fun! The event is free and features fun and festive things such as a dog costume contest and parade (with prizes including food gift certificates, tickets to a play, dance classes, dog grooming and more), a Silent Auction, a Photogropher to take photos of you and your family (human and furry), Mr. Mongolian food truck, kids activities, and LIVE music with Heads Up Penny (from 4-6pm)!

We are in need of volunteers to help us make this event successful! We can not host events like this without the help of our community and hope that you will consider helping us for a great cuse! There are several differnt areas for which we need help; please see below and let us know if there is an area that you would be willing to help us "staff". Please let us know if you are intersted in volunteering with our group as we enjoy a fun-filled day, all while helping our deserving furbabies connect with potential new families!

Area 1: Leash Walkers (10 needed): You will be asked to hold the leash of one of our adoptable dogs, take them for potty breaks, etc. You will be asked to socialize the dog and answer questions about the animal to potential adopters (we will provide the info.). You can switch dogs with other volunteers, and take time off during the event, as able.

Area 2: General Assist (3 needed): We will have things come up during the event and will need people who can help out when neeed to help others.

Area 3: Marketing (4 needed): Help us bring people into this event! Hold signs at the end of streets and give fliers to people driving/walking by.

Area 4: Kids Table (3 needed): We wil have kids' activities (coloring masks and such) and need volunteers to help kids design their masks and coloring sheets as needed.

Area 5: Goodies Table (1 needed): We are selling baked goods for people and dogs, as well as beverages. We need volunteers to collect money and distribute items.

Area 6: Silent Auction Table (2 needed): You will be required to monitor the table and assist in educating people regarding how the auction works.

** Big Boss Brewing is located at 1249 Wicker Drive, Raleigh, NC 27604. If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please let us know. Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes prior to the event so that we can direct you and educte you on the position as needed. Thjere will be time to relieve you for periods of time so that you can enjoy the event as well. Come on out and support a great cause and have a reat time with us!
