Disaster Services volunteers are a team of trained Red Cross volunteers that respond to the scene of a disaster including home fires to deliver Red Cross services. Disaster volunteers ease the difficulties of people unexpectedly overwhelmed by disasters. You would be called on to engage with clients, first responders, and the public.
Volunteers can also choose to be involved in Preparedness Education, Client Casework, Disaster Assessment, Logistics, Mass Care, Staffing and Government Operations. Licensed Health Services and Mental Health volunteers are also engaged to support disaster clients.
We'll work with your schedule.
