Mashel River Van Eaton Plant Placement

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Nisqually Land Trust

We're gearing up for another great season of planting in the Mashel River Van Eaton Protected area! But before we can put any trees in the ground, we need help placing plants in appropriate spots. The Nisqually River Education Project brings school groups from all over Pierce and Thurston Counties to help plant on our properties. By placing these plants beforehand, we can ensure that native trees and shrubs are planted in areas that best suit their growing needs.

- Coffee, water, and some light snacks will be provided; please bring a water bottle and anything else you might need.
- Work parties are rain or shine. Bring layers, rain gear, and close-toed shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.
- If you have life-threatening allergies, please consider bringing your EpiPen.
- All minors MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
