Help out at the Relief Nursery's Lip Sync Battle 3.0 fundraiser at the McDonald Theatre. Teams from the Eugene and Springfield area will do "Jimmy Fallon style" performances to a panel of celebrity judges and the audience. We need help with a variety of shifts throughout the entire evening including at the registration table, spotting and recording bids during the auction portion of the night, helping out on the stage crew, and cleaning up. Once your task is done for the night or before your volunteer shift begins, we invite you to enjoy the show free of charge! The cover band 'Pop Rocks' will also be performing! Description
The Relief Nursery is a non-profit program proven to strengthen high-risk families and keep their vulnerable young children safe and healthy. Nationally recognized, the Relief Nursery stops the cycle of child abuse and neglect with its blend of therapeutic early childhood services and comprehensive family support, including alcohol & drug recovery support services.
We serve low-income multi-stressed families with young children between birth and six years of age, who are at-risk for child abuse and neglect. Relief Nursery programs are an effective model of child protection and family preservation services that build on the belief that most children are best served when they remain with their families.
