Are you a "People Person?" Do you like sharing your passion with others? If you answered "YES" then we need YOU!

Outreach volunteers for the Cancer Support Community help spread the word to people who need our FREE services, by staffing booths and tables at Health Fairs, Street Fairs, and other local events. It is crucial that we expand our reach in order to ensure that EVERY person affected by cancer in our community is aware of the FREE support groups, educational programs, mind & body workshops, kids programs, and more!

This is a community where support and friendship inspire hope. It provides a home-like environment where people with cancer, their families, and friends can come to gather information, support, and learn tools that may be helpful in fighting cancer. Research has shown that people who receive social support - in addition to standard treatment- can have longer, less anxiety-laden lives than those without such a core, supportive community. All programs are free of charge.
