Our disaster team helps our community families either locally or nationally. Some duties include educating about the importance of smoke alarms and preventing house fires, responding to a family affected by a fire, casework for families that need assistance as well preparing for duties when helping at a national disaster. All training provided! Very flexible schedules.

The American Red Cross Biomedical Services will fulfill the needs of the American people for the safest, most reliable, most cost-effective blood, and plasma services through voluntary donations.
Description
The Midwest Region Blood Services supplies blood prioducts to more than 80 hospitals in Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, and Kansas, and across the nation. The region relies on volunteer blood donors, more than 400 employees and 1,300 volunteer blood drive coordinators to provide lifesaving blood for patients in need.
The Midwest Region is one of the 35 Red Cross Blood Regions located across the United States. Together, these regions provide nearly one half of the blood needed each year to treat patients across the nation, about 6 million units.
