The Center for Law and Military Policy is a think tank dedicated to strengthening the legal protections of those who serve our nation in uniform. We are looking for Student Policy Analysts to help us evaluate the deep-seated, structural problems within the military that lead to homelessness, mental health challenges, and suicide.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct research to identify the causes of systemic problems.
  • Assess how well current policies are working and recommend changes.
  • Examine the results of a new policy, determining whether the solution achieves the objective and at what cost.
  • Communicate findings and promote solutions through CLMP platforms, including the Journal for Law, Policy & Military Affairs, the Sound Off blog, the A World Apart podcast, and educational programs.

Please visit our website at www.centerforlaw.org for more information. Also, please read an article written by a former policy analyst about her experience: https://centerforlaw.org/sound-off/f/my-semester-as-a-policy-analyst-at-the-clmp
