Volunteer Opportunities for Immigrants. Dance. Arts. Conference
We are excited to share the following volunteer opportunities. All volunteers are required to attend an orientation at the Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Deadline to register to volunteer is Friday, October 19, 2018.
Week-Of: Week-Of volunteers come in for a total of 9 hours over two separate days. The first five-hour shift must take place on the day before the event, on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. The second four-hour shift can take place the week before the event or the day after the event and is flexible upon availability. Tasks include support for administration, production, media editing, post-production, and more.
Day-Of: Day-Of volunteers attend the Conference on Thursday, November 8, 2018 volunteering for a minimum of 4 hours. Volunteers are typically scheduled in workstations, including production areas such as set up, registration, guest relations, photography, and more.
Stage Manager: Stage Manager volunteers will attend the conference on Thursday, November 8, 2018, and are required to be present for the full day of conference activities. Stage Managers will oversee all sessions in a given room, ensuring that events begin and end on time, speakers are present and prepared, seating arrangements are changed if needed, and audience members complete and submit surveys. Stage Managers may also fill out tech surveys and post on social media.

In exchange for their commitment, all volunteers receive access to the event, which includes: panel discussions, advising sessions with arts and legal consultants, service fair, networking lunch, a volunteer t-shirt, and more!
