NAMI Southern Ohio currently has an opening on its Board of Directors and the organization is looking for someone with a strong financial background in accounting or bookkeeping to take over as the board's Treasurer for a three-year term beginning in January 2019. This role requires attending one monthly organizational meeting held in Chillicothe on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m.

The organization employs an outside accounting firm to handle payroll and accounts receivable, but requires a board member to serve as treasurer to sign paychecks and oversee financial records.

Description

NAMI Southern Ohio is a contracted service provider of the Paint Valley ADAMH board providing free mental health education, advocacy and peer-based support groups to the residents of Fayette, Highland, Pickaway, Pike and Ross Counties.
