We provide screenings, referrals, health navigation, interpretation, and transportation. Our training topics include cancer, cardiovascular disease, nutrition, osteoporosis, and sexually transmitted infections. We also host several annual health events that are free to the community.
This volunteer position would help with outreach, coordinating doctor appointments, and assisting with educating the community on resources.

Description
The ywca lake county has been a viable resource for women, girls and families since 1922. What began in Waukegan as a residence for young women has evolved into a countywide organization that serves thousands. Our mission and purpose has remained the same over the years; however, our programs have developed to reflect the changing needs of the community.
