Do you have experience in veterinary medicine, fundraising, administration, graphic design, or copywriting (articles, blogs, etc.)? We are always looking for motivated volunteers to join our team. We have many volunteer options available to you.
We are looking for volunteers who want to make a difference for the street animals of Cambodia. We are are looking for people who have basic animal handling skills who would be comfortable working with the cats and dogs in our adoption center. We are also looking for photographers or videographers. We would love to invite you on one of our outreach visits to a community or pagoda to capture the spirit of our work. If you have experience in fundraising our team would love to have you on board. Veterinarians are always welcome to work in our clinic! Both stray and owned animals come through who are in need of care. (Note: In order to qualify for surgeries, you are required to provide a copy of your veterinary certificate.)
Are you a veterinary student, or recent graduate? You can stay with us for two weeks or longer to learn from our in-house veterinarian. Students may also be eligible to use their internship towards university credits.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to create sustainable animal welfare in Cambodia and end suffering for Cambodian street cats and dogs.
Description
Animal Rescue Cambodia is an animal welfare organization based in Cambodia's capital city Phnom Penh. We are committed to sustainable and long-lasting change for the animals of Cambodia.
Stray animals dominate the streets and the problem continues to rise. Scarce food, overcrowding and infectious diseases all contribute to a high mortality rate for these animals. The local community is unable to care for the animals which has lead to an increase in the spread of disease and a trend to sell animals to the cruel and barbaric meat trade.
To effectively address these issues our approach threefold. First, we are tackling overpopulation through spay and neutering programs. Second, we are educating local communities and schools about animal welfare. Finally, we are improving the quality of veterinary care through training. We believe changing human behavior is the key to our work as it is the only way to truly improve the future of Cambodia’s animals.
