A major goal for the ASPCA in Los Angeles is to help Los Angeles County Shelters adopt their cats into loving homes. We are expanding into multiple Petco locations to serve as adoption spaces for ASPCA foster kittens and Los Angeles County shelter cats. We need volunteers who can commit to at least one shift per week to care for the adoptable cats at these locations. Volunteer duties will including feeding, cleaning the litter box, providing interaction and cuddles with the cats, helping with adoptions and making sure the cats remain healthy and happy in their space while they wait for their new family. If you are interested in volunteering at one of the following Petco locations, please contact ASPCA Placement & Logistics Sr. Manager, Ariel Collins, at ariel.collins@aspca.org. Shifts are available 7 days a week in the mornings or evenings.
