Do you enjoy talking with others? Do you miss your Grandmother or Grandfather? Our residents all reside in communities (buildings) and they love it when their volunteers come to visit with them. Our volunteers visit one hour a week (no set schedule), you visit when it is convenient for you. This hour is spent listening to their stories, holding their hand, reading to them, playing a game or taking them outside when weather permits.
It is a great way to give back to your community and I promise that you will meet some pretty amazing individuals. Our residents are 70-100 years old! We have retired police officers, teachers, writers, Veterans....they all enjoy the company.
We do require fingerprints and urine drug screen but we pay for all testing and I will make it as easy as possible for you.
We also have locations in Finneytown, Springdale and Kenwood.
