Collaborate and support STEM Girl Scout programs!
As we exposed more Girl Scouts to Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) fields, we strengthen their volunteers' skills and readiness to lead STEM-related activities. Girl Scouts are inspired by STEM professionals or subject matter experts! Adults help girls learn STEM program content and serve as role models, providing them with real-life insights into how they can prepare for successful careers in STEM.
You can be apart of this inspiration by joining Girl Scout's of West Central Florida Volunteer STEM Team!
As a STEM Volunteer, you will:
-Be a role model for girls
-Collaborate on STEM workshops, programs, camps and other opportunities
-Show girls how to accomplish more than they ever imagined
-Help girls develop skills and confidence that will last a lifetime
-Provide girls with unique opportunities they would never have been able to do if they weren’t Girl Scouts
Don’t think you have enough time?
Our Volunteer STEM Team only meet quarterly as we explore possible STEM opportunities, activities and more! Volunteers will participate in our Innovation Saturdays, STEMapalooza, STEM Summer camp or any other STEM programs through the Girl Scout year. Whichever your schedule allows!
