Team Recruitment Chair
Recruits and cultivates walk team participation
Responsible To: Event Chair
Staff Lead: Ileah Vazquez
Length of Commitment: 7 months (August 2018 to March 2019)
Event Goal : $25,00 Walk Team Goal: $13,500
Responsibilities:
- Work with staff and committee members to compile a list for team recruitment and retention
- Inspire Team Captains, act as a resource for them, drive fundraising strategies and coordinate friendly team competition
- Plan and implement team engagement calls and communications
- Attend Kick Off event for team captains
- Attend Stroll 'N’ Roll event the morning of March 9, 2019
- Deliver post-event follow-up to all Walk Teams, send thank-yous, and invite to participate in future CIL activities
Skills Required:
- Ability to motivate and rally participants to attend and donate the event
- Outgoing; good communication and people skills
- Ability to ask people to join a walk team or become a team captain for the event
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and follow-through skills
- The desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities by being a part of a passionate and energetic planning committee
Time Requirement:
- 4 - 6 Hours per month on average
- Monthly one-hour meetings with committee

- Provide the opportunity for participants to help support the programs necessary to accomplish that goal of equality.

- Develop and enhance current leadership and management skills
