Entertainment Chair
Serves as recruiting the fun entertainment and family friendly activities
Responsible To: Event Chair
Staff Lead: Ileah Vazquez
Length of Commitment: 7 months (August 2018 to March 2019)
Event Goal: $25,000
Responsibilities:
- Work with staff and committee members for potential entertainment vendors
- Secure entertainment that would provide an attractive aspect to the event
- Coordinates the Kidz Zone attractions and activities
- Promotes the family friendly aspect of the event
- Work with Logistics Chair to strategically place entertainment in event area
- Report progress to Event Chair
- Attend Stroll 'N’ Roll event the morning of March 9, 2019
- Follow up with entertainment vendors with hand written thank you note
- Work with staff to ensure logos are received in timely manner
Skills Required:
- A sense of excitement and creativity - a kid at heart
- Outgoing; good communication and people skills
- Ability to ask people to donate their time for the event
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and follow-through skills
- The desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities by being a part of a passionate and energetic planning committee
Time Requirement:
- 4 - 6 hours per month on average
- Monthly one-hour meetings with committee

- Bring the fun and amusement element to all event attendees
- Make a positive impact in the lives of those with disabilities
- Network with high-impact community leaders
- Develop and enhance current leadership and management skills
- Gain valuable experience to enhance personal and career growth
