Details
It has been a difficult year for migrant and refugee families. Trying to integrate into a new community is extremely difficult- new language, new school system, new job, new cultural norms and most importantly trying to make new friends. Building relationships is the hardest thing for a newcomer. Join us on for a fun-filled day of making new friends and meeting practical needs.
The community will become a welcoming place for all families regardless of country of origin and cultural background. Migrant and refugee families likewise will have a practical need met as they will receive a food basket for the Thanksgiving holiday and winter items-hats, gloves, scarves, and socks.
