Regional Coordinator will assist in overseeing the implementation of CALISPN projects and strategies in California.
The Regional Coordinator will oversee and facilitate training sessions involving the evidence-based "Question, Persuade, and Refer" (QPR) suicide prevention training protocol for substance use professionals and program administrators as part of a program.
The Regional Coordinator will coordinate gatekeeper and training.
The Regional Coordinator will coordinate ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) gatekeeper training.
The Regional Coordinator will provide general information and education about suicide prevention to targeted groups as requested.
The Regional Coordinator will develop and disseminate regional mental health resource directories, youth wallet cards, posters and magnets to promote access to mental health services.
The Regional Coordinator will participate in the development and maintenance of a cultural competency plan and a sustainability plan.
The Regional Coordinator will present to professional conferences, trainings, and in-services to provide suicide prevention workshops.
The Regional Coordinator will prepare reports as necessary and required by any grants.
The Regional Coordinator will assist with the coordination of CALISPN regional networks and meetings of these groups.
The Regional Coordinator will promote regional suicide prevention activities by initiating implementation of the Tennessee Strategy for Suicide Prevention upon development and approval of specific plans.
The Regional Coordinator will assist with postvention operations at schools, hospitals, entertainment industry, sports association and other business agencies affected by recent suicide deaths.
The Regional Coordinator will fulfill any and all other requirements of the grant and the scope of service with the State of California when indicated.

The main focus is interactively provide the signs, prevention intervention of suicide to the residents, businesses and military personnel of California.

The California Suicide Prevention Network is a non profit corporation with independent, non-partisan, voluntary group of individuals, organizations, and agencies (public and private) who promote and provide interactive broad based support in community awareness, education and outreach services in the signs of suicide and intervention strategies for the prevention of suicide to the military and residents of California.
