Rally Point Arizona Run/Veteran Event

EMPACT-Suicide Prevention Center and Rally Point Arizona are hosting their fifth annual Rally Point Arizona Run and Veteran Event Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Peoria Sports Complex. We conduct this event each year to raise awareness of the 22 Veteran suicides that occur in our country every day, and to honor the men and women who have served our country. This event also helps to fund our Rally Point Military Navigator program, now in its seventh year of operation, that provides much needed services and support to hundreds of Arizona Veterans and their family members each year.

Our event will features a certified 5k Rally Point Run/Walk, and the "22 for the 22 March", where 22 Veterans will march along the same 5k course with our Run/Walk participants to bring awareness to the high incidence of Veteran suicide. A ceremony to honor our Veterans will be held following the run. There will be exhibitors, informational booths, and food concessions before, during, and after the run.

We need volunteers to help make our event a success - both in the festival area and on the race course. Volunteers will be needed as early as 5:30 AM. The event closes at 12:00 PM. You can register to volunteer at: https://rpazrun.phxfr.org/ (click on the "Volunteer Sign-Up" box).
