ORGANIZATION: School on Wheels

one on one tutoring with text

Do you love to read and value the impact of reading? Join the School on Wheels tutoring and mentoring team to inspire the love of reading in children experiencing homelessness.

Our students have returned to school with major learning losses after the pandemic. Their reading, writing, and comprehension skills are impacted negatively. Help them build their confidence, and self-esteem, and open their eyes and expand their imagination.

All tutoring sessions are either in-person or virtual; reliable internet and video/audio capabilities are required. Tutoring usually happens on weekdays between 3 pm-7 pm. We provide in-depth training and ongoing support to all our tutors.
