SFCO Main Stage Concert: WORDSMITHS

The San Francisco Chamber Orchestra is a fully professional orchestra which performs in San Francisco, Berkeley and Palo Alto. The season opens on Friday, October 26 at Herbst Theatre in San Francisco with a world premiere overture by recent Pulitzer Prize in Music finalist Michael Gilbertson. Additional performances occur in Palo Alto on October 27 at 7:30 pm at First United Methodist Church and Berkeley on October 28 t 3:00 pm at First Congregational Church.

The concert includes an interactive demonstration with conductor Ben Simon and the orchestra which will guide audience members through Beethoven's Sixth Symphony revealing its hidden depths and beauties, followed by a complete performance.

We need volunteers to greet SFCO members and guide them to their seats. There is a member reception backstage following the performance at which we need our volunteers to help members find the reception room.
